About Us

Our story begins as all good stories do, with inspiration, a rolling pin and a lot of elbow grease. From that very first perfectly done loaf of bread, crackling its crust and daring us to try again, we have been in love with trying again. 

Like most descendants of Eve, we have a love for the sweet things of life. We began baking as a hobby and it quickly grew into passion. By the age of 18 we’d outgrown our own kitchens and been introduced to our next Aventura! We found a home for the dream of bringing our calling to you in our own little corner of Main street in Dufur OR. 

Aventura bakery uses 100% Organic ingredients and products to bring you delicious and nutritious baked goods done to sweet perfection. Our endeavor above all others is to bring you something truly unique in the bakery market. A place where quality and flavor can come together and create something magical. 

We do it all together, although we certainly have our strengths. Brendolyn is the queen of breads and pastries, while Crystal has thrown her eggs in the basket of creative cake decorating and melt in your mouth pies. 

We are both grateful to have a family legacy of four generations of organic farmers, and no end of talented baking grandmothers to fuel our fire and light the way. 

Shaping this dream of Aventura Bakery, has been our own little Everest to climb these last few years. We are so excited to be able to share this sweet chapter with you.
